Laura

The youngest diva, Laura Coutts (aka ‘baby diva’) is the resident redhead of belladiva and our own personal choreographer. During her studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Margaret Schindler, Laura performed the lead role of Pat Nixon in the Val Machin opera scenes' production of Nixon in China and was the cover artist for Noemie in Massanet's Cendrillon. She has also been an ensemble member in the Conservatorium’s production of Orpheus of the Underworld, principal dancer in Orfeo ed Euridice and completed successful seasons of Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the role of Cobweb and Merab in Handel's Saul. In addition to her lead roles, Laura was the recipient of several prestigious prizes during her studies, including the Elizabeth Muir Prize and the Linda Edith Allen Scholarship.
